After a bit of rain (0.12 inches) this morning, the sun came out and the temperature went up to 80. That brought this Northern Water Snake out to sun in the rip rap lining the harbor.
The wind was about 10 kt (just short of white caps) from the NE, and the sky was blue and the water clear green.
It seemed like social distancing is working. Pretty much everyone on the beach kept to their own family groups, and kept a wide berth from other groups.
Fossil hunting was awful today; only 7 teeth, all small or medium small, and one of those refuses to come out of my pocket.
