We hope. Winter storm "Thor" hammered us all day yesterday, from morning until after dark, starting with rain which melted all the old snow except the plowing piles and ending with 4 inches of new snow.
Today is bright, sunny and cold. 12 F according to the deck thermometer. The road are plowed, but covered with packed ice, and a good reason not to go anywhere unnecessarily.
It is rather picturesque though. According to last nights weather forecast, we are headed into a warming spell, with temperatures as high as 60 F for next week.
Saint Paddy's Day is the traditional day for Osprey's arrival in Maryland. They will be very disappointed if there is still snow on the ground. Ours often run a little late though. South America sure sounds good right about now.
