The first day of 2023 was a gorgeous day by January standards, with temperatures in the low to mid 50s, a light east wind, and mostly sunny skies.
We saw lots of people at the beach, both locals enjoying the weather and/or walking their dogs or hunting for fossils at Matoaka.
We got a pretty good start for this years fossil jar, 12 teeth, including this placeholder for the best
White Shark tooth on the kitchen window sill at 1 15/16 inches
