We've lost a number of beach days in the last week due to Hurricane Ian, whose remnant did a half circle around us, giving us rain for three days as well as other business. We were back today. With the temperature at 55, with a stiff northwest wind, for the first time since spring, we felt obliged to wear warmish clothes and boots.
The tide was pretty high today, and the beach was narrow.
