After the bit of rain this morning stopped, we headed out for our first beach walk of 2015. It's unseasonably warm, over 60 F, coming with a southwest wind that barely reaches the water on our shore. While still mostly overcast, we did get a few minutes of sun through breaks in the clouds.
Georgia found the first shark's tooth of the year, this small Gray Shark. We totaled 11 for the day, none particularly impressive. I have to confess, Georgia beat me, 7-4.
Cargo on the way north to Baltimore, or through the C&D Canal.
Castles made of sand fall into the sea, eventually.
Georgia found a new walking stick, better than her last.
As we were coming back up the beach we saw a pair of Bald Eagles had landed on the jetty. The one on the left was eating something, but I can't quite see what it is. They left as we got closer.
A couple of Cormorants sharing a rock up in the harbor.
