Cabin fever got the best of us today, and to beat the boredom we made a quick trip to the beach before lunch. The internet promised us cold (27 F) but still, about 5 mph, but the actual weather as found was a pretty stiff wind from the south, enough to raise white caps.
A bit of brightness on the otherwise bleak beach. Note that there's still a bit of snow lingering in odd places.
The tide was nearly high (but low, for being high, if you know what I mean), and we only found a few teeth.
The Buffleheads were out.
As were seagulls. I also saw a Loon in the harbor mouth, but he escaped photography by diving, as they seem to have a knack for.
