This All Saint's Day
Rule 5 post goes out to
Christina Ricci, who starred as the deliciously evil Wednesday Addams in the movies
Addams Family (1991) and
Addams Family Values (1993), at the age of 11 and 13. She seems to have made the transition from child star to professional actress with some grace, starring in numerous movies and TV shows including
Now and Then (1995) and
Casper (1995),
Buffalo '66 (1998) and
The Opposite of Sex (1998) for which she received a
Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress) and
Sleepy Hollow (1999).
On TV, she was nominated for an Emmy as a paramedic in Gray's Anatomy, and portrayed Lizzie Borden on Lifetime TV:
Lizzie Borden took an ax
and gave her mother 40 whacks
when she saw what she had done,
she gave her father 41.
Very Addams if I must say.

As a young adult actress she performed in the requisite R-rated movies, including
Prozac Nation (2001),
Black Snake Moan (2006), and
Monster (2003), where she played the lesbian lover to Charlize Theron's serial killer. (NSFW links). Wombat-socho's
