Beach Fireworks
Every year, a few people buy mass amounts of illegal (at least in Maryland) fireworks, bring them down to the beach and shoot them off. From our beach we can see fireworks 15 miles north at Breezy Point, a few miles south (Cove Point) and from several places across the Bay. No government involved, just people celebrating the country. Some beer is drunk too. A few pictures I shot tonight. Click to see full screen.

Much better than in O.C. where the breeze caused the smoke to obscure the view + about 12 billion people there too
