Ospreys Return to the Beach

It's a lousy picture, I saw it a long way off, and heading farther, and I only got one shot, but there it is.  It's only about a week late (St. Patrick's Day is traditional).

Another cool, breezy day at the beach.  About 40 F, wind blowing 15 from the north, with a hair of west, which is why the Bay looks calm here; it had whitecaps not much further out.










Skye was happy to get out and cool her tongue a little.   We didn't get far; the tide was up to the cliff at Calvert Beach.
