No more going to the club with husband Seal, as Heidi Klums divorce becomes, if possible, more heated. OK, it's a lousy pun, but it all the justification I can find for this Rule 5 post. I hope you don't mind.
Seal had a faceoff with Heidi Klum’s bodyguard a month before he publicly accused his estranged wife of sleeping with “the help.”
And if looks could kill, both the soul singer and bodyguard Martin Kristen would be dead men.
The confrontation took place before Seal revealed the depths of his anger in a jarring TMZ.com interview when he complained that Klum should have “at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help.”
was not alleging the infidelity caused their break up:
Staring daggers at each other, Seal and Kristen exchanged what appeared to be angry words when they eyeballed each other July 19 on a Manhattan sidewalk — in front of Klum’s digs.
The stare-down ended when the disgusted-looking singer stalked off in his sandals.
Kristen remained planted in front of his reputed mistress’ address like a Doberman in black high-top gym shoes.
The “Kiss from a Rose” singer and the German-born supermodel separated in January and filed for divorce in April.
“Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together, but he was merely pointing out that their separation and divorce are not yet final and they are indeed still legally married,” his rep said in a statement.
“Seal has moved on and so have I,” Klum said in her Monday statement, first obtained by People.com. “My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children."
The sparring spouses announced their split last January saying they continued to “love each other very much” but had grown apart.
The breakup seemed amicable when the “Project Runway” stunner filed her formal divorce paperwork in April with the mention of a tidy postnuptial agreement.
More pictures of Heidi below the fold, and absolutely no pictures of Seal.
The German fashion and modeling mogul is worth an estimated $70 million compared to Seal’s $15 million, TMZ said.
Famous for renewing their vows each year in an over-the-top themed party, the power couple called it quits after seven years of marriage.
