Sounds Like a Good Deal to Me

The 32-year-old model was recently approached by a French businessman who wanted her to re-enact a moment from hit film Indecent Proposal where Demi Moore spends the night with a stranger in return for $1million.
But then, I don't think it would be an approved budget item at our household.  BTW, does he actually specify what he would like to get done during this night?
Following the bizarre request, Brook put the incident behind her and wowed onlookers at the annual event wearing a stunning silver dress. According to The Mirror, the businessman who is known only as Frederic, interrupted a photocall session which Brook was attending at the Majestic Barriere hotel and offered her a cheque for €1million in return for 'one night' with her.
So, here the Daily Mail is showing poor proof reading.  In the first paragraph the price is a million DOLLARS, but in the second, a million POUNDS.  Given the current exchange rate, one millions pounds would be worth 1.57 millions bucks.  Now, that's not insignificant for a night's hard labor. Shocking what gets by in newspapers these days...

Brook was a bit confused at first and thought it was nothing more than a prank set up by Lemon - whose film she was promoting at the 65th Cannes Film Festival.

But Frederic, who is said to be in his thirties, wouldn't give up and allegedly tried to grab the brunette.
Now, that's just uncool.  Don't grab the girl!  Up the bid!  If you have a million to waste on a nights pleasure, certainly you have two million. It's just money after all, and you can't take it with you.
'Just one night! Please, one night! I have money!' he shouted as Brook suddenly realised there was a problem.

A bodyguard came to the rescue and escorted the man away and was ejected from the French hotel.

And despite perhaps being a bit shaken up, Brook continued her photo shoot and showed no signs being freaked out as she graced the red carpet today.
Just a cautionary video.  Even super models aren't all that you think they might be. Note: this video not embeddable, but still worth going to see.

And, of course, special thanks to Wombat-Socho for including this in his weekly Rule 5 roundup, "Rule 5 Monday: Memorial Day". Also thanks to the Classical Liberal who linked this in "She's Got the Jack."
