A pretty nice day down at the beach. A little cool, perhaps, only 48 F, but sunny. As you can see, Spring is pretty well along here; most, but not all the trees are leafed out, and many are still in bloom.
It was also pretty breezy, about 15 mph from the north, but having dressed right, it was still quite nice. We met Red and Joel as planned.
Skye is continuing to show that the new arthritis medicine (Previcox) is doing better than the last one (Deramaxx). I imagine that different medicines work differently on different dogs, so don't take this as a recommendation, but advice that if what you are using doesn't seem to be cutting it, trying something new might be in order.
A tree that slid down the cliff, still embedded in it's soil. It may continue to struggle for a few years before succumbing to the salt water.
It appears to be a wild cherry, maybe a Black Cherry or possibly even a Bradford Pear which have become common escapees from cultivation in our area.
"Sitting" Eagle was hanging around, and the new foliage is making it hard to get good pictures. An Osprey flew over at one point, but escaped being photographed. No sign of the Tundra Swans or the Bufflehead Ducks. Most likely they're gone for the season.
