We got MLK day off, so Skye insisted that I take her to the beach. It was nicer than yesterday, a light south wind, with temperatures rising to near 40 F. The tide was on its way down.
The floating bridge. A mirage from the eastern shore causes this apparent bridge to form between Taylor's and James' Islands.
Even though Skye insisted on taking this walk, she wanted to go back early. This is a new thing when Georgia isn't along. I can't figure out quite what it is all about, but she'll walk a lot further if both of us are there.
Even though the walk was cut short, I found a small assortment of shark teeth. The thing at the bottom is the base of a fossil sting ray spine.
