We put off this mornings walk in favor of a breakfast out, and a few errands in town. It was downright cold here today, about 45 F in the morning, with winds up in the 30 mph range. After the errands, though, we came home, picked up Skye and headed to the beach.
The autumn color is just about as good as it gets. Here a couple are collecting driftwood for their yard. They still have plenty to choose, as a result of Tropical Storm Lee.
As I proclaimed in the title, the Tundra Swans have arrived back at the north end of our beach. I hope to see more. I saw one eagle fly offshore today, but none were perching over the beach.
Skye was feeling her oats. After being stiffed and being disappointed in the morning, she was happy to get in the car and get down to the beach.
Georgia crawling under one of the log obstacles. It was a good low tide, but tooth hunting was marginal; only a total of about 10 between us.
