We left for the beach shortly after lunch knowing that we might have to cut it short due to an oncoming storm front, which was generating all kinds of warning on the news, including a tornado watch. We marched up to Matoaka before it started to spit rain, and turned around.
By the time we got nearly back to the parking lot the black cloud above swept over and it started raining hard.
A terrible day for fossils, only 3 teeth.
