We had a line of thunderstorms run by last night, which left us a trace of rain, temperatures still in the low 80s, and loads of humidity. The saving grace was 10-15 mph west winds which provided a bit of cooling. An American Lady in the milkweed on the dunes.
The west wind leaves no trace on the water on our side of the bay. The beach was all but deserted.
We arrived just before low tide, and did pretty well on fossil teeth, at least 25 if you count two Black Drum's teeth. Nothing picture worthy, though.
A Cabbage White in the milkweed on our way back.
