Fishing weather and fishing season is winding it's way to an end for the year. Officially, Stripped Bass season the Bay ends Dec. 15, but weather and Christmas shopping suggests I won't be fishing next weekend. So I took this afternoon of to go as well.
Fishing was very slow, unlike yesterday, and I only managed two stripers, one of whom was under the required 18 inches. But the story of the day was the sunset, here in sequential pictures, as I was motoring home. The top picture is over the cliffs near CCNPP, while the one on the right is over Flag Ponds Park.
This one is out front of Flag Harbor; you can just see the green light that marks the channel and some boats if you click on the pictures and see the full screen view.
Finally, back into the harbor. The sunset was fading pretty fast at this point.
