It was cool and misty, but not raining this morning. The temperature was on 45 F and the wind was minimal, but waves were still pretty good from last nights wind. As you can see, the greening of the trees on the cliffs is going pretty well now, with big changes likely every day.
I'm trying to figure out which gull this one is, Bonaparte's or Little? They are in the middle of changing from winter colors (the spot behind the eye) to the summer form (black cap) see below. I'm inclined towards Little Gull.
This one is well along to having the full black cap, but it's just a little scruffy if you click on the picture to enlarge it and look close.
The Buffleheads are still with us. Here's a group hanging near the harbor. In the back, courtesy of the zoom, you can see the boats milling around at my fishing hole...
