Actress Selma Blair, who is Jewish, is being called an Islamophobe for a comment she left on a post on Instagram. The video called out Squad members Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush after they voted against a bill that would prevent Hamas terrorists from coming into the United States. It wasn't her Instagram account and she didn't post the video, she only left a comment about it.
The poster on Instagram is Abraham Hamra, a Syrian Jewish refugee.
In a now-deleted comment, Blair wrote under the video: 'Thank you very much. Deport all these terrorist-supporting goons.
'Islam has destroyed Muslim countries and then they come here and destroy minds. They know they are liars. Twisted justifications. May they meet their fate.'
Her comments weren't over the top. Americans don't want Hamas terrorists in the United States. Look at what happens to people in Iran or Afghanistan when Islamic fundamentalists take control of the country. She was telling the truth. Hamas must be destroyed.
Singer Lana Del Ray isn't the household name Taylor Swift is, but based on what I've heard, she's clearly the better singer. Of course, she's not dating an NFL tight end, either, and getting wall-to-wall media coverage, so if you've never heard of it, it's certainly understandable. But she still has a sizeable following, to say the least. So why isn't the media pushing her? Well, I don't know for sure, but her latest move isn't likely to endear her to the notoriously anti-gun media.

She may have lost the “Scream” gig, but she promoted her newest project, “Your Monster,” at Sundance without incident and appeared to be in good standing within the Hollywood community. This time may be different. Earlier this week, Barrera shared a link on Instagram asking followers to donate to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to help “all the martyrs in Gaza and the West Bank.”
