Actress Sophie Turner says she inadvertently played a role in ending a celebrity couple’s engagement after a brief and seemingly innocent encounter years ago, as reported by Page Six. The 29-year-old “Game of Thrones” alum recounted the story Thursday during an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

She explained that the incident happened at a San Diego Comic-Con afterparty when she was approached by a childhood friend who spotted an actor she admired. Turner said her friend asked her to say hello to the man, and she obliged by simply waving from across the room. “That was it,” Turner said.

Later that night, Turner approached a well-known actress she recognized and wanted to meet. “I have to go and tell her how much she means to me,” Turner recalled. After walking over to speak with the actress, Turner said she was met with an unexpected response: “Can you stop f**king flirting with my fiancĂ©?” The actress then pointed to the man Turner had waved at earlier.

“I have no idea who this man is,” Turner told Meyers. “Turns out, they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave]. I didn’t realize I held this power.”

According to an eyewitness at the scene, the two appeared to share a relaxed meal, sipping cocktails and sampling several dishes, including lobster.

Security personnel reportedly accompanied both individuals. Sources indicated the security team monitored the dinner from the bar area using mirrored glass positioned behind the guests.

Jamie Lee Curtis wasn’t hitting for contact last weekend when she stepped to the plate for a Freakier Friday promo video for Disney. She was swinging for the fences.

Like a great home run hitter can do later in their career, she got a pitch to hit, didn’t miss, and put the ball in the seats. The round-tripper in the form of a low-cut top shocked some less familiar with the 66-year-old's ability to hit the long ball.

On Wednesday, with the promo video having passed the 15 million views mark, Curtis addressed the buzz the unexpected appearance of her cleavage caused.

"I LOVE the fact that the LAST photograph of me as TESS taken backstage in costume from my surprise appearance at @elcapitanthtre to support #freakierfriday has gotten more attention than any other since the announcement post with @lindsaylohan that sparked the movie getting made!," Curtis wrote along with a picture of her viral outfit.

In a new ESPN docuseries called The Kingdom, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed his initial skepticism about teammate Travis Kelce’s budding romance with Taylor Swift.

In fact, Mahomes admitted he needed to “see it to believe it” when Kelce first told him during the week leading up to her debut appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023.

Sheesh. Imagine having so little trust in your tight end that you’d think he’d make up a story like that one? To be fair, it was probably seen as a pretty wild claim at the time.

“[Kelce] told me during the week,” the 3-time Super Bowl champion quarterback says in the series’ third episode. “I was one of those like, ‘I got to see it, you know? I got to see it until I believe it.’”

Legendary Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, 81, is engaged to his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, who is 44-years his junior.

Hamrick revealed she has been keeping her engagement a secret for quite some time during a French interview published Wednesday by Paris Match.

“Two or three years,” the 37-year-old told the outlet when asked how long she had been engaged. Hamrick, a former ballerina, and Jagger began dating in 2014 after meeting in Tokyo. Despite the news of their engagement, Hamrick cautioned that marriage may not be part of the couple’s future plans.

RVM reports Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman Will ‘Definitely’ be Subpoenaed in Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Legal Battle

The high-profile legal clash between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is drawing some of Hollywood’s biggest names into the fray, with Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman reportedly next in line to become directly involved.

According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, both stars will “definitely be served this week” with subpoenas connected to the ongoing legal battle between Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Baldoni.

“It could happen at any time,” the insider claimed, suggesting that the subpoenas may be imminent.

It’s been just over a week since the pop star Katy Perry went to space for eleven minutes as part of Jeff Bezos’ all-female Blue Origin crew. Unfortunately for her, however, Perry has since been met with serious backlash for taking part in this space journey, which many felt was both “tone deaf” and “embarrassing.”

Now, insiders are speaking out to reveal the regrets that Perry has about taking part in this Blue Origin flight. Indeed, it appears that the backlash has finally gotten to the “Firework” singer.

“Katy doesn’t regret going to space. It was life changing. What she does regret is making a public spectacle out of it,” a source close to Perry told Daily Mail.

Cherie Currie, the former frontwoman of the groundbreaking 1970s rock band The Runaways, has made headlines again—this time for her unapologetic embrace of conservative politics and support for President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Currie, who rose to fame alongside bandmates like Joan Jett, is now using her platform to speak out against the Democratic Party.

Her shift away from the political left has been documented on her official X account, where she has posted several strongly worded messages denouncing Democrats and aligning herself with conservative causes.

“F**k the Democratic Party! You clowns. Liars! Users. Destroyers! Mental case, Cowards! We’ve HAD IT with you!” Currie posted on April 24, 2025.

Hollywood in Toto has Nikki Glaser’s Anti-Trump Tirade, Explained, "Rising comic star fears she'll be put on a 'list' for mocking conservatives."

Glaser’s turn as the 2025 Golden Globes host got near-universal raves. Her 2024 routine at “The Roast of Tom Brady” brought the house down. She’s beautiful, talented and fiercely funny. In short, she’s earned her “moment” (along with a gig hosting the 2026 Globes gala).

She’s also an extremely hard worker, putting in endless hours prior to her Golden Globes showcase alone. Why? She wanted to perform at the top of her capabilities. That work ethic matters in Hollywood and elsewhere.

She’s also less political than her peers. Her brand isn’t about Left or Right but honesty, self-deprecation and lots of over sharing. Yet she unleashed on President Donald Trump during a Time Magazine-sponsored event that made her sound to the Left of John Oliver.

Yes, she played the “Dictator” card against Trump.
“I was just on stage in Canada where you can make jokes about someone [President Donald Trump] and they are on board … in Canada it was fun. I let it fly. It was really good.”
Perhaps she wasn’t aware of the free speech limitations in the country. Next, she suggested comedians can no long mock the Commander in Chief in the age of Trump.

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ski racer of all time has achieved what no skier has ever gotten close to doing before. Mikaela Shiffrin has reached a level that few athletes have reached in any sport.

On Feb. 23, the 29-year-old notched her 100th World Cup victory in Sestriere, Italy. The victory marked an incredible surge of strength -- both physical and mental -- following recovery from a serious early-season injury.

When the first-place result came up on Sunday, she lay on the snow, almost in disbelief, before being helped up by teammate Paula Moltzan. Afterwards, Shiffrin cried when she was asked what it meant to her to win after struggling the last few months.

"I don't know that it's possible to dream about a milestone like this," she said after the race in an interview, "It's too big. It's too long. It takes too much. I always dreamed about good turns, step by step and trying to be better tomorrow than I was today. That dream for me is big enough."

Inga Thompson, a former U.S. Olympic cyclist and lifelong member of the Democratic Party, admitted recently in an interview that she’s rooting for President Donald Trump when it comes to his views on protecting female sports from the transgender nonsense.

One of the biggest sticking points in Trump‘s campaign was his vow to wipe out biological males competing against women. Now, mega-stars like Sylvester Stallone are coming out to support President Donald Trump and few are demanding an apology. Trump’s inauguration drew stars like Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood and Snoop Dogg and no one shared a mewling mea culpa the next day.

Except Jewel. The ’90s era sensation, best known for hits like “Who Will Save Your Soul,” performed at a GOP ball honoring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Trump’s choice for Health and Human Services Secretary. That enraged a select group of Jewel’s fans. She rushed to her Instagram account to share a video apology as if it were still 2020.

OutKick, Danica Patrick Has Two-Word Response To Criminal Anthony Fauci Getting His Security Detail Revoked

Oh, you think Danica Patrick is losing sleep over that crook, Anthony Fauci, losing his security detail? Think again, Lib! She's all in, as is Donald J. Trump. It's past time for all these COVID monsters to start paying the piper, and we started seeing that yesterday afternoon when the current president revoked Anthony's security detail out of nowhere.

You think DOGE is putting up with that unnecessary expense? Think again! We ain't paying for it. Fauci can, as Trump said, but the American taxpayer will not. "They all made a lot of money. They can hire their own security," Trump said.

Amen. He made us mask up and fear-mongered us for years. He can pay for his own detail. We're good.

Anyway, back to Danica Patrick … she ain't too upset about it, either. "Damn right," she captioned an Instagram story late last night in response to Trump revoking Fauci's detail.

WUWT,  Green on Green? Climate Activists Assault Sigourney Weaver with Confetti. You can't expect modern activists to know who she is.

I guess even climate activists like Sigourney Weaver aren’t safe from the green mob.
WATCH: Climate Doomers Fire Confetti Cannon at Sigourney Weaver London Play

London (AFP) – Two climate activists disrupted a London stage performance of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, starring Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver, on Monday.

The protesters climbed onto the stage at London’s Theatre Royal, launching a confetti cannon and holding a sign which read “Over 1.5 Degrees is a Global Shipwreck”.
It is difficult to imagine a more dedicated Hollywood supporter of the green movement than Sigourney Weaver. Here is Sigourney Weaver speaking at the 2016 DNC in support of Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid . . .

Random Celebrity News

For some values of "random", "celebrity" and "news." First, from Breitbart, Paula Abdul Settles Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Assault by ‘American Idol’ Producer Nigel Lythgoe

Paula Abdul and former “American Idol” producer Nigel Lythgoe have agreed to settle a lawsuit in which she alleged he sexually assaulted her in the early 2000s when she was a judge on the show.

Abdul filed a notice of settlement of the case in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday. It still must be approved by a judge.

“I am grateful that this chapter has successfully come to a close and is now something I can now put behind me,” Abdul said in a statement Friday. “This has been a long and hard-fought personal battle. I hope my experience can serve to inspire other women, facing similar struggles, to overcome their own challenges with dignity and respect, so that they too can turn the page and begin a new chapter of their lives.”

Paul Bedard at WaEx informs us Elon Musk Crushed Taylor Swift As Top Campaign 2024 Surrogate, Over 2-To-1

When Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Sept. 10 after her only debate with President-elect Donald Trump, many pundits suggested the election was over and that the “Swifties” would overwhelm the polls.

However, Musk, who endorsed Trump on July 13, carried more weight and influence, according to a new survey shared with Secrets from Cygnal. “By a more than 2:1 margin, voters believe Elon Musk (47%) was the most effective surrogate for Trump, followed by Joe Rogan and RFK Jr. tied at 22%. Harris’s surrogates were substantially less effective, with only Taylor Swift breaking 20% followed by Oprah at 16%,” the pollster said.

Unlike with the celebrities behind Harris, Trump didn’t pay his famous backers, and many joined Musk in repeatedly accompanying the former and future president to campaign events, often speaking for him.

A triple play at OutKick,  Alex, Paulina and Maggie, oh my!

Rapid-fire time on this final-Friday-before-Christmas. First up? Sports anchor Alex!

Power move here from Alex. No beating around the bush. She's ready to get back out there and meet someone for the holidays.

Go get 'em, fellas! And welcome to class, Alex. Good to have you aboard. You seem like a great fit!

Happy 36th, Paulina Gretzky! They grow up so fast. Looks like her and Dustin Johnson are doing well.

Hard to believe given DJ's most recent golf season, but I reckon when you have billions in the bank and a wife like Paulina, you probably don't lose sleep over a couple missed cuts.

Finally … we've got DRAMA in the Wheel of Fortune world!

Fans of Wheel of Fortune are speculating that the show’s hosting duties may stay in the Sajak family.

Social media correspondent Maggie Sajak might take over Ryan Seacrest’s Wheel of Fortune hosting role if contract talks fall apart, sources say.
. . .
The insider reported: "Sony loves the ratings and wants to negotiate a much longer contract for Ryan. But right now, they have to have contingency plans in place in case Ryan simply decides to move on."

I'm all the hell in on this. I thought Maggie should've gotten the job originally. She's a pistol, has a huge following on social media (can't imagine why), and her last name is Sajak.

John Sexton at Hat Hair on Blake Lively and How Hollywood Works Behind the Scenes, our own very special hive of scum and villainy.

For those of you who don't know, Blake Lively is an actress who recently starred in a pretty successful film called It Ends With Us. In addition to being a movie star, she is married to Ryan Reynolds, an even bigger movie star who recently appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine, one of the biggest hits of the year (It came in 2nd in total box office behind Inside Out 2). She's also apparently good friends with Taylor Swift who is currently the biggest pop star in the world. All that to say, Blake Lively is a big deal in Hollywood and arguably and even bigger deal in the celebrity media industry that is built around Hollywood.

I haven't seen It Ends With Us but it's based on a novel about a woman who gets involved in an abusive relationship. The man in that film was played by Justin Baldoni who also directed the film. Apparently life was imitating art in this case as things didn't go very well on set. Afterwards the media was full or rumors of what a difficult person Lively was to work with.

But it turns out those rumors didn't arise on their own. Lively has now sued her co-star and his production company claiming they ran a media campaign to badmouth her, harming her reputation in order to downplay news about how she was treated on set. It seems that mean girls isn't just a film in Hollywood, it's a profession.

BIS, Lindsey Vonn Defends Making Skiing Comeback At 40 – ‘I’m Not The First Person To Do It’. But is it fair to be bionic?

The skiing legend Lindsey Vonn is preparing to compete in the World Cup for the first time in nearly six years this weekend. Indeed, she will be taking part in the super-G races in St. Moritz on Saturday and Sunday.

Ahead of this, Vonn is firing back at naysayers who are saying that at 40 years of age, she’s too old to launch this kind of comeback.

Part of the reason? She doesn’t sound particularly healthy! At issue is a bum knee she had to get partially replaced.

“I’ve been thinking about getting a replacement for several years. I did a lot of research….I know people think that I’m insane, but I am actually kind of smart….I have done a few operations, so I know a few doctors….I talked to a lot of them,” Vonn told ESPN. “I talked to [extreme skier] Chris Davenport, who also had a partial knee replacement, and he skis like 150 days a year. … So that gave me a lot of confidence.”

Finally, from Althouse, "I’ve gotten so lazy with my youngest one, because there’s so many, that at night I put him in his clothes for the next day..."

"So, he has dinner, he takes his bath, but then I’ll be like, 'Hey, dude. It will save an extra five minutes if we get dressed now and then you can sleep later,' and I can sleep later, wink wink."

Said the celebrity Tori Spelling, quoted in "Tori Spelling Gets Backlash for Dressing Her Son for School the Night Before—But Should She?"

That's in Parents, last September, and I'm seeing it because it's linked in a new article in New York Magazine, "On the Internet, Everyone’s a Bad Mom."

That's nothing. When you realize they're about to go to school with spaghetti from dinner 3 nights ago on their shirt, it's time to make them change their clothes.
