A very typical July day, 80 F, all but clear, not very windy, and a touch humid. Not many people on the beach either. A tough day for Skye (it ain't Siberia), so we drove to the beach to keep it a little shorter.
Not a great day for fossils, 10 teeth, a crab claw, and some rando bones.
The bad news is that the
Sea Nettles have arrived. Only a few, but it only takes one to make you unhappy. Traditionally, we consider July 4 to be the expected date for the onslaught of nettles, so they're about on time.
