Skye and I took a short walk on the beach this afternoon, after I completed some morning chores. Still another great day, clear, cool but not frigid, and just a bit breezy.
We couldn't get far because the tide was lapping up against the clay cliff at Calvert Beach, so it was a poor fossil day, only two ordinary teeth.
Skye is doing her 'wolf act' in the grass
Our first glimpse of the Tundra Swans this year. They're usually much further up the beach, but this trio, (A pair and a juvenile?) came swimming down the shore, and matched our walking speed south. A little too far out for a good picture.
