Rape Culture Update

Rolling Stone’s @SabrinaRErdely has been so busy keeping us informed about how wealthy fratboys at elite universities routinely gang-rape 18-year-old girls . . . Wait, no. Actually, she hasn’t tweeted a single word in the past 18 days. We are nevertheless sure she’s been plenty busy, which explains why she hasn’t reported these stories:

• Police have charged University of Virginia senior Houston teenager Clinton Onyeahialam with raping a 16-year-old girl at a party in June. That crime gained nationwide attention after photos of the victim were posted to social media networks.
• Members of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity Boko Haram terrorist group killed 32 people and kidnapped 185 women and children in atraditional campus hazing stunt raid in northeastern Nigeria.
• DNA evidence linked a University of Virginia student 26-year-old Cornell McNeal to the rape and murder of a freshman sorority pledge 36-year-old mother of four who died Nov. 22 after suffering burns on more than half her body.
• The rape and murder of a college freshman 11-year-old girl has been solved, according to police in Charlottesville, Virginia Vellore, India. Authorities arrested a UVA fraternity member 15-year-old boy and say he confessed to strangling the girl to death.

We apologize for errors in the minor details we had to correct in these stories, but the “rape epidemic” on America’s college campuses is so rampant that Sabrina Rubin Erdley can’t keep up with it all.
