Yesterday morning we walked a middling loop in Rome, to the Spanish steps, the Trevi Fountain and back. A few highlights:
The Fountains of the Repubblica, near the train station:
I didn't inquire the name of this one.
At the bottom of the Spanish Steps.
Four of these adorned one street corner:
Then, the fountain to end all fountains, Trevi. Story as it if you throw a coin into Trevi over you left shoulder, you will return to Rome. The place was jammed:
Finally, a fountain to Romulus and Remus:
Hey, I don't remember sitting for that sculptor!
Wombat-Socho at The Other McCain rechecked his email, and found this
way back in the inbox for last week, but put it in this weeks Rule 5
extravaganza "Pulchitrudinous Power Hour."
