There's Hurricanes in Florida, and Texas Needs Rain

Tropical Storm Lee has formed in the Gulf, and threatens the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida panhandles with a wet and windy weekend much like my last one.  At the same time, Texas, which could use the rain because of an ongoing drought, will likely be missed.

Hurricane Katia has formed out in the Atlantic, and heading towards the East Coast, but the current models show it veering sharply off to the East. I hope that trend continues. But, all models are wrong, the only questions are by how much and in what direction.
