(Spoiler: He didn't want to bring any charges.) But Weiss had to go begging to prosecutors in other states to bring charges in those jurisdictions -- and they turned him down. Merrick Garland perjures himself here, claiming that Weiss had "full authority" as he's previously pejuriously claimed, but prosecutors in other states could "refuse to partner with him" on investigating Hunter Biden. In other words: He did not have "full authority."
