Fox 45 Baltimore: The Mosbys haven't paid their water bill in nearly a year
Records with Baltimore City show that the home owned by Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby has not had its water bill paid in nearly a year.
Online records show that a payment of $134.54 was made on March 30, 2021. In the intervening time, the Mosby's have racked up a water bill of more than $900. The date that a penalty on the bill is assessed is February 28, 2022.
Marilyn Mosby is facing federal charges, accused of making false statements to influence a mortgage company, in connection with two vacation homes in Florida. She allegedly failed to disclose that she owed "significant amounts of federal taxes" on a mortgage application, including a $45,000 tax lien on her Baltimore home that her attorney claims she didn't know about.
