Both of us are an up and coming country duo from Orlando, FL called Diamond Dixie. We’ve been doing music for the past ten years but tapped into the influencer marketing world about three years ago which is around the same time we got into modeling (for social media). We’ve collaborated with multiple talented photographers in the greater Orlando area and even contact photographers that we can collaborate with whenever we’re out of town.
Please tell us about your art.
We are musicians before anything else. We have such a passion for music and always have. We travel back and forth to Nashville to write new songs, record and collaborate with other artists. Along with that, we play shows around the state of Florida and even out of state. This year we’ll be in Texas, California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Given everything that is going on in the world today, do you think the role of artists has changed? How do local, national or international events and issues affect your art?
Given the events that happen locally or even internationally, they definitely influence the way that we write music, perform, and even express ourselves on social media.
