Crystal and Hef, Off Again, On Again

It was almost two years ago when first started reporting on the April-December romance between former Playmate Crystal Harris, and her former boss, Hugh Hefner.  Back in late December of 2010, we saw Hugh Hefner first get engaged to Crystal.  Then, in April of 2011, Hugh was caught disclaiming how their love was so true that they didn't need a pren-nup to protect his considerable fortune against marital misfortune. Shortly after that, an epidemic of Legionnaires Disease ran through the Playboy Mansion, and we hoped that the happy couple were not among those affected.  Later in 2011, the now disenchanted couple separated (we hope it wasn't that Legionnaires thing, or the dog poop on the floors of the Playboy Mansion), and Crystal pawned Hef's ring for a cool $90k.  Then it was their respective rebound partners.  And finally, their initial reconciliation in June.  Whew, it's so hard to keep up.

It seems she must have reclaimed the ring, because it was just announced that they were reengaged:

Hugh Hefner appears to be giving love a second chance. The 86-year-old Playboy tycoon is once again engaged to 26-year-old Crystal Harris, his ex-fiancee who famously called off the couple’s June 2011 wedding just five days prior to the scheduled big day, according to TMZ.

The on-again pair are reportedly set to tie the knot at the Playboy Mansion on New Year’s Eve. Unlike their previous plans to say “I do” in front of 300 guests, Hefner and Harris will purportedly exchange vows during an intimate gathering in front of close friends and family members.

Harris, who rekindled her relationship with Hefner this past June, is said to be finally ready for matrimony.

According to TMZ’s sources, the blond beauty feels the time she spent on her own following the breakup taught her “how to be independent and stand on her own two feet.”

Who says she didn't (sometimes) stand on her feet before they broke up?  However, she seemed equally comfortable lying on her back, lying on her stomach, sitting, and other odd poses.
