Beach Report 5/12/24

We were greeted this morning early, about 8 AM, by a brief hailstorm, with a bit of thunder. Small stuff, about the size of a lentil. Nothing especially dangerous to plants and things. It melted away pretty quickly in  50 F weather.
By noon, temperatures were up to 60 F, with sun in and out, and a stiff NW wind.

Because of the high tide and surf we didn't get past the rocks to Matoaka, but despite that, we did reasonably well with shark's teeth, 7 each. This was my favorite, a small but very distinctive Sand Tiger. They're not very common here, for some reason, although they are very common in older formations, and still exist today.
