Spring is still holding off here in slower Maryland. The temperature
was an unseasonable 49 F and the wind a brisk 15-20 from the north when
we met Joel this morning.
Just because I haven't had many pictures of silly husky tongue lately. She's getting older and tireder and lamer by the day, and a beach walk is still one of the the great joys of her life.
The Ospreys were putting on quite a show. There were four of them in the sky at one time, and apparently the fishing was good. You can barely see the fish in the thumbnail, but if you click on the picture to embiggen it, it's pretty clear.
There were a few other people using the beach, mostly hunting fossils and beach glass.
Now, about that justice thing. At some point Georgia jumped in front of me and snatched up this really good Mako Shark's tooth. She claimed she was saving it from the waves, but I think she was just trying to keep me from getting it. Oh well, at least it wasn't Joel.
