It was a raw morning at the beach to start the Memorial Day weekend. A cold front arrived last night with showers, and took the temperatures down to the about 55 F with a stiff 25-30 knot north wind.
Not a nice day to be on the water. Not even very nice to walk.
Skye was happy to get out.
Joel found this nice tooth after I looked at it cursorily, and rejected it as a leaf part. I must need to recalibrate my fossil vision.
The wild rose that covers parts of the cliffs is in full bloom, and smelled wonderful. About this point it started raining (again) and we went back to the car.
