Another two days worth of beach reports here. Yesterday was a wonderful spring morning, clear blue sky, calm, not too hot or humid.
Another shark's tooth hunter. She had a pretty decent collection, if I recall correctly.
Georgia taking a rest after bringing Skye back early because she couldn't climb the breakwater at Matoaka Cottages.
Georgia found the best tooth of the day, this small Mako (that's my hand).
Today was a "work day" at the beach, where people in the community come to fix the beach. Some people spread new gravel to level and fill the holes in the parking lot, and fix the cables that separate the lot from the beach. The day is stormy, but it held off until after noon.
Others cleaned out the fire pits, and got rid of the random nonburnable trash and sand that have have collected.
Others picked up trash, and raked up some of the flotsam that collects at the high tide line.
I spotted this Stinkhorn mushroom in some mulch on the way back up to the car.
