After our exertions in the garden yesterday, Georgia and I were both sore and tired, but despite her apparent pain from yesterdays tumble off the bottom the the Calvert Beach steps, Skye insisted we go down to the beach.
I like the repeating pattern in the clouds, here, looking south toward the Gas Dock
It was windy, cold, and mostly cloudy, and the tide was way up again. The path around the narrow spot at Calvert Beach was closed off by the waves (see video below) and we chose to turn around at that point.
Despite the aches and pains, and a few leg spasms, Skye ran around and got a few yaa-yaas out. Due to the short walk, and the high tide, fossil hunting was awful; Georgia and I found one each, she a nice Lemon Shark, and me a fairly common Tiger Shark.
No one complained when we came home early
