Much the same as yesterday. Warmer, about 55 F, initially calm, but building from the south while we were out walking. The trees are filling in with leaves visibly every day now. If we'd get some sun it would look pretty nice.
Georgia finds an impromptu bridge to get over the stream at Matoaka Cottages.
One of the eagles was out overlooking the beach as we walked by. Probably hoping an Osprey with a fish would wander by to mug. You can see the poplar tree is filling in with leaves.
The little beach daisy. Of all the pictures I took today, I like this one best.
Now identified as Coltsfoot, Tullilago farfara. A species introduced from Europe or Asia. The plant is often found in waste and disturbed places and along roadsides and paths. In some areas it is considered an invasive species. Thanks Dennis!
A meeting of the local civic association. Skye says hi to one of her beach friends, while Georgia talks to our next-door neighbor who was down jogging.
