Because of the high tide, we couldn't get past the rocks to Matoaka, and with all the sand, it was a terrible day for fossils, 5 pitiful shark's teeth. But Skye got some pets, and met a couple dogs, so she counted it as a success.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

3/5/23 Beach Report
A nice day, with temperatures in the high 50s, a very high tide, and a lot of sand on the beach. According to Cove Point, we should have had a stiff SSW wind, but when we got there it was distinctly coming down the beach from the north. Looking at the wind site, it's pretty clear the wind shifted just about the time we left home...
