Eric Wins, Cheney Opposed Guard J6 Guard Deployment

POAM President James Tignanelli, 45th President of the United States
Donald Trump, and Republican Governor candidate Tudor Dixon
Yesterday was primary day in a number of states. The media narrative is always, of course, strife in the Republican party between Trump supporters versus the never-Trumpers. At JTN, Trump-backed candidates in Arizona, Michigan poised for big night in Tuesday's primaries, "Voters in Missouri, Michigan, and Arizona will choose their candidates for November's elections." WaPoo, Final stretch of primaries will showcase a divided GOP. In one egregious example, touted by AllahPundit at Haut Hair, in Missouri, 'colorful' MAGA candidate former governor Eric Greitens faced slightly less MAGA candidate former AG Eric Schmitt for the Senate nomination, A tale of two Erics, each endorsed by Trump  As we saw yesterday (Or was it the day before), Trump declined to chose between them, giving his endorsement to "Eric." And his pick prevailed, from Breitbart, Attorney General Eric Schmitt Wins GOP Primary for U.S. Senate in Missouri and *** Election Night Livewire *** Battle of the ‘Erics’ in Missouri, Arizona Tests MAGA, Impeachment Backers Face Fate. More from Sundance at CTH, Primary Election Night in Arizona, Missouri, Michigan, Kansas and Washington State, Result Links and Open Discussion. Breitbart, Trump-Backed Tudor Dixon Easily Wins Republican Governor’s Primary in Michigan, against Gov. Whitmer. The peacock is pissed that Rusty Bowers, a Jan. 6 committee star witness, loses GOP primary in Arizona. At WaEx, Liz Cheney boasts support of Yellowstone star Kevin Costner: 'Real men put country over partyl'  From the Wombat's In The Mailbox: 08.02.22 the Weasel Zippers hear Liz Cheney Thinks “Water World” Actor Can Save Her. But it just might work for Democrats this time." Stacey Lennox at PJ Media listens to Larry Elder,  Is Kamala Harris 'Inevitable' as the Next Democrat Nominee? Larry Elder Thinks So. It's got to be a black woman. Ace, CBS Poll: Breakfast Tacox Now Split In Party Preference, "We're taking a beating with Karens, unlicensed cat kennel operators, and Planned Parenthood Frequent Flayer card holders, though." At Am Think, Mike  Zey thinks Armageddon Looms for the Democrat Party. Wishful thinking. Giving away someone else's money will remain popular.

Phil Bump at WaPoo is not convinced Fox is turning on Trump, Fox is talking about Trump less because it’s busy talking about Biden. And Biden's giving it plenty of juicy material. At Newsweek, Nicole Russell thinks It's Time for the GOP to Let Trump Go.

'Bonchie' at Red State says Ron DeSantis Delivers Perfect Response to Request From 'The View' for an Interview. When a simple GFY isn't enough.

Politico whines that RNC links up with ‘Stop the Steal’ advocates to train poll workers, "Recordings of recruitment “summits” show party officials working with Cleta Mitchell and other leaders of Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election." Good. Breitbart reports Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court Upholds Mail-In Voting Law on Party-Line Vote. Bad. At Da Wire, Judge Strikes Down San Francisco Law Allowing Non-Citizens To Vote. Good in principle, but irrelevant because it's San Fran.

At JTN, Liz Cheney's J6 attack on Trump undercut by her father's own actions during 1992 LA riots, "Presidents authorize Guard use but typically wait for requests from local officials, just like then-Defense Secretary Dick Cheney did during 1992 Rodney King riots." At Da Federalist, Tristan Justice goes Inside Liz Cheney’s Coordinated Effort To Prevent Troop Deployment Before Jan. 6 "Before Liz Cheney claimed President Donald Trump took no action on the National Guard, she coordinated a campaign to prevent deployment." Does she have a guilty conscience? Kathy Miller at NYT writes a homage to Cheney in Liz Cheney's truth, cited at Haut Hair.  At Ace's Quick Hits "Not-Thin Lizzy is now claiming that if you have a legal theory that she disagrees with, that's a prosecutable crime."

From JTN, Jan 6 committee star witness Cassidy Hutchinson worked on behalf of Trump months after riot GSA reveals, "Hutchinson earned an annualized salary of $90,000, worked for the "Presidential Transition Support Team, 2021 Outgoing Transition"" Capt. Ed, Hmmm: Did Cassidy Hutchinson keep working for Trump months after January 6?. Ace, FOIA Documents: Madison Cornbread (Government Name: Cassidy Hutchinson) Continued Working for Trump For Nine Weeks After Her Supposed Revulsion at January 6, "Madison Cornbread said something to the effect of, "Show me the money."". . .  They slow-rolled this in order to blunt its impact." Suffice it to say her conscience was rather slow and convenient in its development.

ABC, Ex-White House counsel subpoenaed by federal grand jury investigating Jan. 6 attack, "Pat Cipollone spoke to the House Jan. 6 select committee last month." At NYT cited at Haut Hair, Arizona officials warned fake electors plan could "appear treasonous." There's a big gap between "could  appear" and "is" treasonous. At Breitbart, Justice Department Says Militia Group Cannot Blame Donald Trump for Entering Capitol on January 6. Matt Margolis at PJ Media, Harvard Study Wrecks Insurrection Narrative of Capitol Riot. Matt Boose at Am Great, Media’s ‘Insurrection’ Fixation Paints a Skewed Picture of Political Reality, "With the January 6 circus, the Democratic Party is demanding unconditional loyalty in the name of democratic principles they reject."

Atop Da Hill, Man who stormed Capitol with gun gets longest prison term, "stormed", but never went inside, and never took his gun out of his holster. "Friedrich rejected prosecutors’ contention that an “upward departure for terrorism” — leading to a far longer sentence — was warranted in Reffitt’s case. It was the first time that prosecutors have requested that sentencing enhancement for a Jan. 6 case." OAN, Guy Reffitt Sentenced To 7 Years Despite Not Entering Capitol Building. Mediaite trumpets ‘Trump Deserves Life in Prison’: Daughters of Man Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison For Jan. 6 Attack Blame Trump

HE, AG Merrick Garland Is the Democratic Inquisitor in Chief "Garland is not just a Democratic hack, he has become the party’s Inquisitor-in-Chief as he contemplates charging former President Donald Trump for his imagined role in the January 6 Capitol Hill riot–during which a lot of unarmed people ended up looking pretty silly, but some of whom are still languishing in jail for just being on the scene that day." At the Am Spec, George Parry  expects The Democrats’ Looming Trial and Conviction of Donald Trump, "A regime in deep trouble will resort to its worst instincts and ambitions."

Who’s he kidding? Garland made it sound as if there is a chance that Trump might not be arrested and prosecuted. But, to anyone who has been paying attention, the intention of the Democrat-controlled federal government has always been and remains to be the legalized destruction of Donald Trump. It is, in fact, the whole purpose behind the illegally constituted Jan. 6 committee’s Soviet–style show trial, its contempt citations of Trump administration officials, and the follow-up supporting criminal cases by the FBI and Justice Department.

A simple application of the basic criteria of criminological analysis points directly to the high likelihood of Trump’s prosecution. Those elements are motive, means, and opportunity. As explained below, the leftist ideologues in control of the federal government have the motive, the means, and the opportunity to arrest, prosecute, convict, and, quite possibly, imprison Trump.

AllahPundit is still consumed with the missing texts from J6,  Surprise: The case of the missing Jan. 6 text messages now extends to the Pentagon. Adam Mill at Am Great remembers The ‘Deleted Text’ Scandal Democrats Want You to Forget

Recalling the case of 23 FBI cell phones wiped clean while in the possession of Robert Mueller and his team. . . .It will be interesting to see whether the Justice Department assigns some of these same cell phone-deleting attorneys and FBI agents to pursue the Secret Service for its text deletions. It will be even more interesting to see the reaction of Democrats to committees under a Republican majority subpoenaing Secret Service agents protecting Joe Biden.
