Biden Administration 2nd Year Blues Continue

So how's that second year of the Biden/Klain reign going for you? The peacock admits 'Downhill,' 'divisive': Americans sour on nation's direction in new NBC News poll, "Large majorities say that the U.S. is going in the wrong direction, that they are falling behind economically and that political polarization will continue." Fox News Poll: Voters reluctant to give Biden a second term, "Economic anxiety is higher than a year ago, and many feel the pandemic is not under control." It is absolutely not "in control", but it will end, thanks to Omicron. From Twitchy, ‘An ABUSIVE FARCE’! Yossi Gestetner DROPS Biden in DAMNING, receipt-filled thread for claiming he will finish the job and shut COVID down At Da Wire, POLL: Just 20% Of Voters ‘Strongly’ Approve Of Biden; 60% Would Vote For Someone Else If Next Election Held Today. Rich Moran at PJ Media, Poll: 72% Think the U.S. Is Headed in the 'Wrong Direction', but to be fair, half of them are socialists thinking we haven't stolen enough fast enough. Also, The Political Power of Inflation Will Destroy Joe Biden and the Democrats, Welcome back, Carter. From Breitbart, Maher: Biden Should Be in ‘a More Ceremonial Role’ – After ‘Not Horrible’ First Year, ‘America Has Lost Its Faith’ in Him. Good Queen Joe. 'Bonchie' at Red State, NBC Poll Reveals the Most Unpopular Major Political Figure—and Where Things Are Headed. Vice Queen Kamala, and to hell in a handbasket. Breitbart, Black Democrats in South Carolina Giving Biden Mixed Reviews "Just 6 in 10 Black Americans said they approved of Biden in a recent poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, down from about 9 in 10 who approved in polls conducted through the first six months of Biden’s presidency." Andrea Widburg at Am Think thinks (no, not yet) There’s a reason for the chaos that controls within the Democrat party. Because most of their ideas don't make any sense? Naomi Lim at WaEx, Biden a 'liability' after he pledges to campaign for Democrats in midterm elections. I'm sure he'll be happy to stay in the basement. Roger Kimball at Am Great, The Coming Dethronement of Joe Biden, "Biden’s situation presents the unnamed committee who actually runs the presidency with a huge and delicate problem. It can’t last." At Fox, White House chief of staff Ron Klain under fire amid Biden woes. Wouldn't it be easier for Klain to pick a new President? KT at Town Hall on Psaki to frustrated Dems: Drink margaritas, kickbox. Raheem Kassam tried it, I Lowered my Expectations, Had a Margarita, and Went Kickboxing. Here’s What I Learned. Mostly that it's a good way to get drunk.

Natalia Mittelstadt at JTN, Georgia congressman: Biden has to 'cry about' election laws to distract from policy failures. At Am Great, Vince Everett Ellison thinks Democrats’ Hypocrisy on Voting Rights Advances the Cause of Political Slavery. At NYPo David Harsanyi reminds us Biden is hardly the first Democrat to try to delegitimize elections. 'Anony Mee' at Am Think thinks Eric Adams May Well Force The Federalization Of Elections, by allowing noncitizens to vote. Also, Andrea Widburg wonders Did over 100,000 people older than 124 years vote in Wisconsin?. Almost certainly not, but it points to a widespread problem with the voter rolls. And Vince Coyner thinks It's Still Timely And Necessary To Get The 2020 Election Right. Atop Da Hill, Ron Johnson: 'Americans are not looking for election reform'

On Da Hill, Cheney challenger wins Wyoming Republican activists' straw poll and from NYPo, Trump-endorsed candidate beats Cheney in Wyoming GOP straw poll. I'm sure she'll get a comfy gig at CNN or MSNBC.

At WaPoo Hugh Hewitt opines on Why there’s no truth to the Trump-DeSantis feud. "In short, you have to work overtime, and with an active imagination, to turn anything DeSantis said into a feud with the former president." Whining on Da Hill as Florida redistricting plan faces opposition from DeSantis

“We have submitted an alternative proposal, which we can support, that adheres to federal and state requirements, while working to increase district compactness, minimize county splits where feasible, and protect minority voting populations,” general counsel Ryan Newman said.

Newman hinted that DeSantis might veto a map that did not suit his tastes.

Good. Cancel them.

WaPoo whines Va. Gov. Youngkin’s assertive first week in office leaves Republicans jubilant, Democrats fuming. A good start. Dabra Saunders at RCP and Am SpecYoungkin Rips Off the School Mask Mandate "As for those who want masks, Boyle offered, "If a parent wants to send their child to a school masked, that's their prerogative."" In response, liberal regions of Virginia plan masking forever, Fairfax County, Va., directs principals to suspend students who don’t wear masks. WTOP, though, reports the Catholic Diocese of Arlington instructs its schools to follow Virginia mask exemption order

At NYPo, School closures have been made with politics in mind — not science. Politics always trumps science, trust me. At Da Mail, Thousands of anti-vaccine mandate protesters flaunt mask rules to descend on DC where they blast songs by anti-mandate singer Meat Loaf and listen to speech from Robert F. Kennedy. At Da Caller, Over 30,000 People Marched To ‘Defeat The Mandates’ In Washington DC. It really doesn't matter anymore. Omicron has basically reached and vaccinated everybody who was susceptible. "My advice to them is this: Ignore the After School Satan Clubs. Completely. . . . Here’s their end game: They want you to react. They want you to overreact. The Satanic Temple, along with their friend Mikey Weinstein at the Freedom From Religion Foundation, is hoping you’ll march into your local school board meeting to demand that the clubs be banned. If your school board complies, they’ll be hit with a big fat lawsuit and potentially millions of dollars in legal fees and years of legal struggles. The Satanic Temple knows very well that a 2001 Supreme Court ruling gives them the right to have their little godless clubs, but they’re hoping you’ll try to ban them so they can collect their legal fees and/or shut down the Good News Clubs. Either outcome is fine with them.
