We passed on our beach walk yesterday because it was cold, the snow was messy, and there was a stiff wind bearing down from the north. Although, today was colder, the sky was sunny, and the wind was way down, so we gave it a try.
There's a bit of ice floating around it the water; we've seen it much worse, of course.
The beach was frozen where it wasn't covered with snow; fossil hunting was awful, one tooth apiece.
Georgia slipped on some frozen clay on the way back and hit her head on the cliff hard enough to raise a lump, and got her feet and butt wet. All in all, not our best trip.
