On Friday, Gold Star families attending the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Gala, were greeted by protesters with spitting and name-calling. Ryan Manion, who lost her brother in Iraq, described the incident on her Facebook page:
Fox News analyst Frank Luntz described being hit in the face with paint and glitter at his hotel Saturday. . .
A CBS news radio correspondent was forced off the air Friday after protesters began throwing objects at her. This happened in the same area where a limousine was burned.OK, CBS, maybe I can understand; they were abominable to Obama. . .
When a group of protesters lit a fire in the street Friday, a Trump supporter wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat walked in an put it out with a fire extinguisher. As he calmly talked to the crowd one man with his face covered walked up and shook his hand while two men behind him pulled off his hat and punched him in the head:
Hundreds were arrested in the rioting, and word has it that many could be charged with felonies, which if it resulted in their losing the right to vote, would be a delicious irony.
And, while it's not strictly germane to the black clad rioters, this video of the nice old granny getting tossed off a plane for harassing a pro-Trump passenger is just too good not to pass on.
I like the cheer at the end.
