I invited Pete out fishing this afternoon. It was warm, almost 60 F out, but windy, 10 -15 mph out of the NW, with some white caps. We go beat up a little bit fishing in the rip, since north winds build up big waves there.

I got out to a quick lead of 6 fish to 2, as Pete fended phone calls from people who wanted to schedule trips. Later, he buckled down to business and with a strong finish, beat me, 11 fish to 10. Oh well, another day maybe. Fish were small to medium, the largest around 24 inches. No giants today. Maybe tomorrow?
