The Budget as a Diet: Analogies

If the US  Budget were a steak dinner, we didn't trim the fat off the meat, we put a few less croutons on the dinner salad.

If the US Budget was a cake, we didn't skimp on the icing, we put a few less sprinkles on the top.

If the US Budget was a Super-sized Big Mac Combo meal, we threw away a french fry.

From Ted:

One (1) trillion is a 1 followed by 12 zeros. = 1,000,000,000,000 and
One (1) billion is a 1 followed by 9 zeros. = 1,000,000,000

So out of a 3.8 Trillion dollar budget ($3,800,000,000,000)
we are going to "Save" 38 Billion dollars ($38,000,000,000)

So...... Divide by zero, carry the one.....
Well hell lets just divide each one by 1 Billion.

3800000000000/1000000000 = $3,800 and
38000000000/1000000000 = $38

Am I right? Did those pathetic, inbreed crack weasels in DC just finish up a $3,800 yearly shopping trip to the mall. Spend weeks arguing about saving money and ALL they could think to do to save money was to not take the family to McDonald's as they drove out of the mall?

Please add your own to the list in the comments.
