Sporting News, What is on Jordan Chiles’ back? Explaining the spine tattoo (not a scar)
visible during 2024 Olympics
Plenty of the USA's gymnasts competing at the 2024 Olympics have tattoos, but few have ones more noticeable than Jordan Chiles.
Chiles — a two-time Olympian who has won silver and gold in the team competition — has at least a dozen tattoos on her arms and back, but the latter is more visible during her competitions in Paris.
Chiles has numerous tattoos including one located at the top of her spine. While some initially believed it was a scar, it's actually a depiction of two koi fish swimming.
The tattoo will sometimes peak through the top of Chiles' leotard during competition, so gymnastics fans may catch a glimpse of it during the 2024 Olympics.
