I'm Back

Pete called a couple of days ago, and said he had a few free day, Sun, Mon and Tues. It seems someone had canceled a three day reservation thanks to Hurricane Debby. I signed up for Sunday, and arranged for someone I work with at the water company, and his son, to come to, in addition to two other walk-ons.

A north wind scared him off the Southern route, so he headed to the Little Choptank, where we soon found a good Striper bite on surface plugs near structure. We had a limit in the box pretty early, and then went looking Specks and Redfish.

My friend from the water company scored two nice Specks another site note too far away, while I got the first Redfish on a paddle tail, a small.

We chased around the Little Choptank a while, and while  we found a pretty good striper bite, specks and reds remained elusive.
After the wind calmed a bit, we crossed the Bay  back to Location X, where we found a pretty good cluster of slot Redfish in shallow water. The kid was a star here, catching the majority of a limit of slot reds on a crank bait,
