A Tuesday Tune - Gasoline

Caitlin Mae is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist with an energising and charismatic stage presence. Having sung with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood at just 17 years old, Caitlin Mae continues to delight the crowds at the venues she performs at across the UK as well as in Nashville, Tennessee where she has already toured twice this year with a third tour scheduled for the Fall.

Having already debuted four original songs at the iconic Bluebird Cafe, Nashville (virtually due to lockdown), Caitlin Mae fulfilled her wish of performing there live and in person, not once, but twice in 2022.

With a plethora of number 1 hit singles under her belt since she began releasing her original music, and her debut EP, "PERSPECTIVE", also taking the top spot in the iTunes charts, Caitlin Mae was thrilled to see her latest single "Li'l Black Dress", which she recorded at the Sound Kitchen Studios in Franklin , Tennessee, debut on CountryLine Radio.

In November 2021, "Take My Demons", one of four songs on her EP, was awarded "Song Of The Year" by the ARC Radio Listener Awards, whilst the video for one of the other tracks, "Gasoline", was featured at the Welsh Film Festival Awards. August 2022 saw Caitlin Mae attend the International Singer Songwriter Association Awards in Atlanta, Georgia, where she won the Gold Award for International Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Music Video of the Year, again for "Take My Demons". Further nominations in 2022 include the BCMA Awards and The Josie Music Awards where Caitlin Mae is a finalist . The latter to be held at The Grand Ole Opry House with Caitlin Mae attending.

The Wombat has Rule 5 Sunday: Mrs. Santa  out on time and under budget.
