Beach Report 4/2/22 - First Osprey of the Year

And a gorgeous, if slightly chilly day (low 40s). Unfortunately, I failed to get a decent picture because I was putting away a shark's tooth as it flew overhead. Generally, the rule of thumb in Maryland is that Ospreys arrive around St. Patrick's Day, but on our stretch of beach, a little later seems the norm. Now the eagles can go back to stealing their meals fair and square.
Actually, I saw an Osprey fly over yesterday, but it was the mechanical kind.

Between Georgia and I we counted 23 shark's teeth, a couple of crab claws and a drum tooth. Nothing spectacular, though.
