20 Feds in the Jan 6 Riot, and Other Stuff

We've long been comfortable with the notion that multiple Federal agencies has men inside some of the groups which invaded the Capitol. If they didn't, the FBI leadership was stupid, and they aren't stupid. Now, we're getting some confirmation of that via ET, 20 Federal ‘Assets’ Embedded at Capitol on Jan. 6, Court Filing Says

“At least 20 FBI and ATF assets were embedded around the Capitol on J6,” read a footnote on Page 6 of the motion. No other details were provided in the document.

The footnote said defense attorneys “combed through a mountain of discovery,” including FBI form 302 summaries of interviews conducted by FBI agents.

In addition to the information about law-enforcement assets on the ground at the Capitol, the footnote says, the Oath Keepers “were being monitored and recorded prior to J6.”
The next question is whether these embeds pretended to be relatively passive followers, or were they provoking, and or leading others into criminal acts? Based on past history, and with the same leadership as the Whitmer kidnapping plot, one can reasonably bet on the latter. Defense attorneys, with the consent of Chief District Court Judge Robert Jonker, argued that the FBI attempted to induce their clients into committing the alleged kidnapping crime." We’re on it. People will be held accountable. Madeline Osburn at Da Fed, The Feds Are So Desperate For Violent ‘White Supremacy,’ They’re Fabricating It. “The key to the government’s plan was to turn general discontent with Gov. Whitmer’s COVID-19 restrictions into a crime that could be prosecuted,” defense lawyers wrote in a joint motion. “The government picked what it knew would be a sensational charge: conspiracy to kidnap the governor. When the government was faced with evidence showing that the defendants had no interest in a kidnapping plot, it refused to accept failure and continued to push its plan.”

WaPoo, House GOP leaders lack insight into Jan. 6 committee’s inner workings. The committee is a mono-partisan creation of Nancy Pelosi for the sole goal of maintaining Democrats in office, and should be regarded as such. They could stumble on some truth, but it would be completely by accident. Jazz Shaw at Haut Hair, Liz Cheney: Oh, we definitely could push criminal charges on Trump.
