Russiagate: Durham Accuses Clinton Campaign of Paying for Spying on Clinton Campaign, White House

I have been letting this go a while, but it's time to catch up. But, some foreplay first. At Da Fed, Margot Cleveland reports that IG Horowitz has been holding out on Special Counsel Durham, Special Counsel ‘Clarification’ Reveals The DOJ’s Inspector General Is Not A Team Player. But from Jerry Dunleavy at WaEx, DOJ watchdog ‘likely’ told Durham years ago it had phone of key FBI lawyer

The Justice Department watchdog's team “likely” told John Durham it had phones belonging to an ex-FBI general counsel in 2018 after the special counsel suggested the watchdog had not been completely forthcoming, according to a new court filing.

The dust-up between Durham and DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz comes as the special counsel hinted that Horowitz has slow-walked turning over key information related to a criminal case against Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann.

And then, yesterday, from 'Bonchie' at Red State, John Durham Drops a 'Shock and Awe' Filing About Spying on Donald Trump

According to Durham, who is clearly trying to signal at this point that he’s got the goods on a lot of people, Trump was not just spied on. Rather, he was actually spied on while president by outside allies of Perkins Coie, from Trump Tower to the actual Office of the President.

This blows Watergate out of the water and makes it look like child’s play. Only in the current hyper-partisan environment, where Democrats can literally get away with anything, is this not a major national scandal. Here you have associates of Hillary Clinton, and allies of the law firm she was contracting to get dirt on Trump, using government channels to spy on him. And not just during the campaign, but after he became president.

The fact that all of this has only been exposed via Durham’s special counsel investigation is yet more evidence of just how corrupt the DOJ and FBI are. These facts had to have been known throughout Trump’s presidency, yet no one talked? That just doesn’t add up, and it completely vindicates Trump, who has long maintained he was being spied on.

Matt Vespa at Town Hall,  BOMBSHELL: Clinton Campaign Lawyers Paid Tech Company to Infiltrate Trump White House Servers. Even across da pond at Da Mail, Trump accuses Hillary Clinton campaign of TREASON after Special Counsel John Durham said they paid tech firm to hack into his White House and Trump Tower servers to find Russia links. Althouse reads NYPo, (because the NYT won't report it, "Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid an internet company to 'infiltrate' servers at Trump Tower and the White House in order to link Donald Trump to Russia, a bombshell new legal filing alleges...."
"Special Counsel John Durham filed a motion related to potential conflicts of interests in connection with the case of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who is charged with lying to the feds.... Sussmann allegedly told the FBI he was not working on behalf of Clinton when he presented the agency with documents that supposedly linked the Trump Organization to a Kremlin-tied bank two months before the election.... Durham’s motion reportedly alleged Sussmann 'had assembled and conveyed the allegations to the FBI on behalf of at least two specific clients, including a technology executive (Tech Executive 1) at a U.S.-based internet company (Internet Company 1) and the Clinton campaign.' Records showed he 'repeatedly billed the Clinton Campaign for his work on the Russian Bank-1 allegations,' which involved an investigative firm, a tech executive, cyber researchers and numerous employees at internet companies, the motion reportedly stated."

Rick Moran at PJ Media on The Media Blackout of Durham's Bombshell Report Alleging Clinton Campaign 'Infiltrated' Trump Tower. It sure wasn't in this morning's WaPoo.

CNN is full of stories about Donald Trump’s clogged toilet, but nothing about the Durham probe. The Washington Post is equally silent. As are The New York Times and the Associated Press.

Will these brave, courageous purveyors of truth cover the fact that Trump special prosecutor Robert Mueller was hoodwinked by these shenanigans? That Mueller was kept in the dark about the surveillance from which some of his “evidence” was obtained?

I have two major questions. First, and most important, can they tie this directly to Hillary, or will she be able to claim that the people in the campaign conceived and carried out this outrage without her consent or direction? I assume Durham is working in that direction, using smaller fish to lure bigger fish into the probe, but Hillary is pretty wily, and wraps her efforts in layers of lawyers for protections.

The second, which I have less confidence in, is whether or not Durham is working towards showing members of the intelligence community, FBI, CIA and NSA knowingly participated in this campaign. The justice community, and the DC swamp tends to extend it's protection to fellow government workers; "There but for the grace of God, go I." Remember what happened to Kevin Clinesmith, who was convicted of falsifying evidence to permit continued FISA warrants on Carter Page (and by extension, the whole Trump campaign. He was given a slap on the wrist by the head of the FISA court itself, and quickly had his law license restored.
