Rule 5 Saturday - Legendary Beautiful Brown Eyes - Catherine Zeta Jones

The object of today's Rule 5 post (hey, I guess I'm objectifying a women) is Catherine Zeta Jones.  In the course of doing this post, I was astonished to find that she was Welch, I mean, like from Wales (Swansea).  I guess after "The Mask of  Zorro" (1998) and "The Legend of Zorro" (2005) I just assumed that she was Hispanic.
She began acting, singing and dancing professionally in Wales when she was cast in the lead role in Annie at age 12.  ex-Monkey Dacker, Mickey Dolenz cast her as Tullulah in Bugsy Malone two years later.  Of course, her "big break" was Zorro.  Other big hits include Entrapment (1999), the Haunting (1999). Traffic (2000),   Chicago (2002),  "Oceans Twelve" (2004) and "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas" (2005).
She married actor Michael Douglas in 2000, to whom, in a break with  Hollywood tradition, she is still married.  They have two children, Dylan and Carys.

She has starred in numerous films and a few plays since the days of Zorro, and won numerous awards for her eyes legs boobs acting.  At this point, she has three films in post production, and one being filmed, so we can expect plenty more from her in the future.

No more chatter, just more Zeta Jones below the leap:

A brief clip of Catherine belly dancing, and then more stills.

Ted is going the nostalgic route again this weekend with his paean to Ann-Margret (no last name necessary). The DaleyGator has a slide show of Azuki Harasaki.  Maggie has rounded up a bunch of girls from South of the Border this week.  The Classical Liberal is expounding on "The State is a Harsh Mistress" with Holly Valance.  Hogsanta in getting into the Rule 5 spirit with "Quirky Ladies" (aren't they all?) with his first being Pauley Perette.  William Teach at Pirate's Cove has Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup, with a Rule 5 review, and one of his "If all you see" specials.  The DaleyGator has a video with Rihanna lolling around in bed, just looking good.  And Wombat-Soccho comes through with Rule 5 Sunday on Sunday!

  2. What really launched her career was the 1991 series, "The Darling Buds of May."
