8 tips for surviving an alien invasion

1. Beware of long desolate roads - It seems like all the sitings and "abductions" happen there.
2. Identify yourself as a peaceful environmentalist - Because the aliens are coming to save the earth, not you.
3. Avoid national monuments - They seem to be alien attractors, at least in movies.
4. Be careful with the video camera - It can slow down your escape.
5. Avoid meteorites and their crash sites - Another classic from the movies.
6. Stockpile food and water - Good advice for any number of calamities.
7. Prepare for biological warfare - We've been fighting the same war over since the "War of the Worlds"
8. Have unfinished business - you'll need a reason to survive, or you'll just give in.
